Winner of the 2019 Kathleen Ferrier Award Benson Wilson opens the season with his debut as Marullo Rigoletto for Glyndebourne on Tour, following a highly successful summer as a Salzburger Festspiele Young Singer, where he appeared as Mirza Der Gesang Der Zauberinsel.

Alongside a busy season as 2019/2020 National Opera Studio young artist, on the concert platform he appears at the Oxford Lieder and North Norfolk Festivals, and sings Don Fernando Fidelio for the Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival conducted by Lawrence Foster.
