Robin Johannsen makes debut with Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia

Robin Johannsen makes her debut with Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia performing Haydn Die Schöpfung with Manfred Honeck – a piece she revisits later this season in her debut with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra under the baton of Philippe Herreweghe.

Further notable debuts this season include with Wiener Symphoniker for Bach Magnificat in D (Philippe Jordan), the Arion Ensemble in Montreal for Bach B Minor Mass (Andrea Marcon), Philharmonia Baroque in Handel Judas Maccabeus (Nicholas McGegan), Orquesta y Coro Nacionales de Espana also for Bach B Minor Mass (David Afkam) and her UK debut with the English Concert in Bach St John Passion (Harry Bicket). Other concert highlights include a tour of Mozart concert arias across Asia with the Freiburg Baroque and Kristian Bezuidenhout, Mozart Requiem and Beethoven Missa Solemnis on tour with Ensemble Vocale Lausanne and Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century under Daniel Reuss, and Brahms Ein Deutsches Requiem at the Mozarteum in Salzburg under Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla, as well as at the Dresden Music Festival and Berlin Konzerthaus under René Jacobs.
