Rinat Shaham makes her role debut as Marguerite in La Damnation de Faust with Sir Mark Elder and The Hallé

Rinat Shaham makes her debut with The Hallé in February, singing Marguerite in a concert performance of Berlioz’s La Damnation de Faust under Sir Mark Elder. Her engagements this season also include Ravel’s Shéhérazade with St. Louis Symphony Orchestra conducted by Stéphane Denève, Judith in Bartók’s Bluebeard’s Castle with the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra under Karina Canellakis, her return to Angers Nantes Opera in the title role of Cendrillon by Massenet, the title role in Carmen at Oper Leipzig, and her debut at the Bregenzer Festspiele as Maddalena in a new production of Verdi’s Rigoletto.
