This month, Mark Padmore and Mitsuko Uchida reunite for a recital tour of the USA. After their acclaimed recording of Schubert’s Schwanengesang last year, they perform Schubert’s Winterreise in four concerts including a return to Carnegie Hall, New York on 15 March.

Mark heads to Stockholm this month for a recital on 7 February at the Konzerthuset in a programme of Beethoven, Schumann, Mozart and Haydn, with pianist Magnus Svensson.

January sees Mark Padmore appearing in the Netherlands with the Zuidnederland Philharmonie. He has two concerts of Britten’s Nocturne on 26 and 27 January conducted by the orchestra’s chief conductor Duncan Ward.

Mark Padmore has a run of recitals in April starting with a return visit to the
Concertgebouw in Amsterdam where he includes works by Clara Schumann, Rebecca Clarke and Sally Beamish. He then heads to Spain and the
Sociedad Filarmónica de Bilbao to perform Haydn, Fauré and Vaughan Williams, followed by a repeat performance at the

Mark Padmore is excited to make his role and house debut in the title role of a new production of Monteverdi’s
Il ritorno d’Ulisse in patria. Performances at the
Grand Théâtre de Genève, from 27 February to 7 March, are conducted by Fabio Biondi and directed by FC Bergman.
