Mark Padmore returns to the Royal Opera House to sing Aschenbach in Britten’s Death in Venice

Mark Padmore returns to the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden in November to sing Aschenbach in Sir David McVicar’s new production of Britten’s Death in Venice conducted by Sir Mark Elder, alongside MRM singers Andrew Tortise and Michael Mofidian.

Other season’s highlights include the three Schubert song cycles with fortepianist Kristian Bezuidenhout at the Wigmore Hall, Thomas Larcher’s A Padmore Cycle at the Concertgebouw, Amsterdam, and a recital tour with pianist Till Fellner including concerts at the Berlin Konzerthaus, Vienna Musikverein, and Amsterdam Musikgebouw.
