Karen Cargill was recently in Canada to sing Mahler’s great Symphony No. 2, the ‘Resurrection’, with the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal conducted by their new Music Director Rafael Payare. The final concert at the Maison Symphonique in Montréal was streamed live on Medici.tv.

Karen then headed back to London for the opening concert of the London Philharmonic Orchestra’s new season with Schoenberg’s epic Gurrelieder conducted by Edward Gardner.  Richard Morrison writing in The Times described her as “majestic in the Song of the Wood Dove.” Head over to BBC Sounds to listen now.
