James Newby and A Midsummer Night’s Dream
4 September 2024Following successes in the role of Demetrius in Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Garsington Opera, he will return to the BBC Proms for their semi-staging on 10 September and continues with the role in a new production for Opera North, opening in Leeds on 12 October, and for Opéra de Lausanne in a Laurent Pelly production in December 2024.
