New signing: Bryan López González

MRM welcomes exciting young tenor Bryan López González to the roster for general management.

Bryan López González was born in Cuba in 1991 and studied at La Habana Conservatoire. He has won several singing contests including the UNEAC in Cuba, and was granted a scholarship by the Richard Wagner Stiftung in Munich. In the national premiere of Der fliegende Holländer in Cuba he performed Steuermann and with the chamber ensemble Ars Longa he has toured Colombia, USA and Europe. Since season 2015/16 he is a member of the Young Artists Programme at Deutsche Oper am Rhein, where roles have included Arturo in Lucia di Lammermooor and Tamino in the reduced version of Die Zauberflöte. During summer 2016 Bryan made his debut at the Martina Franca Festival as Ferrando in Così fan tutte under Fabio Luisi.
