Andrew Tortise returns to Covent Garden to make role debut as Kudrjas in Katya Kabanova

Andrew Tortise returns to the Royal Opera Covent Garden in February in his role debut as Kudrjas in Richard Jones’ new production of Katya Kabanova, conducted by Edward Gardner.

Concerts this season include tenor soloist for Handel Messiah and Bach St John Passion with the Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century and Daniel Reuss; Horatio in Berlioz Lélio with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra conducted by Joana Carnerio, and Beethoven Missa Solemnis with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and Ex Cathedra.
