Born in 1991, Cuban tenor Bryan López González completed his singing studies with teacher Adolfo Casas at La Habana Conservatoire.

He has won several singing competitions including the UNEAC in Cuba, and was granted a scholarship by the Richard Wagner Stiftung in Munich.
As a soloist at the National Theater in Cuba he has performed various principal roles in opera and zarzuela, such as Tamino Die Zauberflöte, Alfredo La Traviata, Rodolfo La Bohème, Edgardo Lucia di Lammermoor, Fernando Doña Francisquita and Javier Luisa Fernana.
He performed the role of Steuermann in Cuba’s national premiere of Der fliegende Holländer, and has toured Colombia, USA and Europe with the chamber ensemble Ars Longa.
During summer 2016 he made his debut at the Martina Franca Festival as Ferrando Così fan tutte under Fabio Luisi. He will perform Tamino Die Zauberflöte (young audience version), Conte di Lerma Don Carlo and Principe di Persia Turandot, all at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein where he is a member of the Young Artists Programme. He will also make his debut at the Teatro de la Zarzuela in Madrid with the Cuban zarzuela Cecilia Valdés.
